Japanese Summer

Japan's summer (June-August) is characterized by intense heat and humidity, especially from July to August, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C (86°F). The season begins with a rainy period (tsuyu) in June, followed by a hot and humid spell. Despite the challenging weather, summer is a vibrant time for festivals, fireworks, beach trips, and enjoying seasonal foods and treats.   Summer is a prime time for vibrant street festivals and dazzling firework displays over rivers and other scenic locations.
